The event sees wide local and international participation, with announcements of a series of agreements and strategic projects linked to future cities.
The 21st edition of the Oman Real Estate, Design and Construction Exhibition and Conference, organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, has commenced at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event sees wide local and international participation, with announcements of a series of agreements and strategic projects linked to future cities.
New Agreements and Strategic Projects
During the conference, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning signed a partnership agreement to develop residential neighborhoods (3, 15, and 17) in Sultan Haitham City, covering an area of 640,000 square meters with an investment value exceeding 320 million Omani Rials. Additionally, the first package (A), package 12, and package nine (A) in the city were awarded.
The conference also witnessed the awarding of a tender for providing consultancy services to oversee construction works in Thuraiya City, with an investment value exceeding 3 million Omani Rials, alongside the signing of a development memorandum of understanding in the “Central Al Khuwair” project.
