313 Omani Citizens Return from Iran via Bandar Abbas; Phased Repatriation Continues

16 June 2025, As part of its official repatriation plan, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs—working in coordination with relevant authorities and the Sultanate’s embassy in Tehran—has successfully facilitated the return of 313 Omani nationals from the Islamic Republic of Iran via Bandar Abbas.

Additional citizens have also departed Iran through the Shalamcheh border crossing, preparing for their return to Oman.

The Ministry expressed its appreciation to all contributing agencies and reaffirmed its round-the-clock efforts to ensure the safe return of all remaining nationals.
