Muscat – 29 May 2025, On the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, the Government of Oman has announced official public holidays for employees in government institutions, public sector entities, and private sector establishments.
According to the official announcement, the Eid holiday will begin on Thursday, 9 Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to 5 June 2025, and will continue until Monday, 13 Dhul Hijjah, corresponding to 9 June 2025. Official work will resume on Tuesday, 10 June 2025.
The Ministry of Labour noted that work may continue during the specified holiday period if necessary, and compensatory leave will be granted according to applicable regulations.
The Ministry extended its warmest congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Omani people, and all Muslims around the world, wishing health, prosperity, and continued blessings for all.
