Authorities in Oman have announced that Monday, March 31, 2025, corresponding to 1st Shawwal 1446 AH, will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, as the crescent moon was not sighted on Saturday evening.
Accordingly, the official Eid holidays, which began on Saturday, March 29, will continue until Thursday, April 3. Given that this is followed by the weekend, official working hours will resume on Sunday, April 6, resulting in a 9-day holiday for both the public and private sectors in the Sultanate.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will lead the Eid Al-Fitr prayer at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher, Muscat Governorate.
