Oman to Establish the Middle East’s First EV Charging Equipment Factory

Omani company Muscat Gases, in collaboration with Taiwanese company Zerova Technologies, is set to establish the first electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment factory in the Middle East.

This agreement, aimed at accelerating the development of electric vehicles in Oman, underscores Muscat Gases’ commitment to advancing clean energy and sustainable transportation. Zerova Technologies, a global leader in EV charging equipment, will assist Muscat Gases in becoming the region’s leading provider of EV chargers.

Negotiations between the two companies began six months ago and, following comprehensive discussions, the final agreement has been reached. This partnership is expected to significantly transform the EV infrastructure in Oman.

A senior official at Zerova Technologies said, “We are thrilled to partner with Muscat Gases on this transformative project. This collaboration, given our shared expertise and vision for a sustainable future, is a natural fit. We look forward to supporting Muscat Gases in their mission to lead the EV charging market and achieve Oman’s green energy goals.”

Muscat Gases, known for its innovative approach and commitment to quality, is set to make significant strides in the EV sector. The company will leverage Zerova Technologies’ advanced EV charging solutions and its own local expertise to create a robust and reliable network of EV chargers across Oman.

Zerova Technologies, with facilities in Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Japan, the EMEA region, and the United States, designs and manufactures a full range of EV charging solutions for global brands.

Additionally, Muscat Gases has signed an agreement with US-based O2 Fuel Petrochemical Solutions to develop innovative energy solutions and reduce carbon emissions. This company specializes in fuel additives aimed at improving fuel quality and reducing environmental pollution.
