Oman’s Foreign Ministry Announces Return Routes for Citizens in Northern Iran

17 June 2025, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman has announced organized arrangements for the return of Omani citizens currently in northern Iran. The following land border crossings have been designated:

1. Razi – Kapıköy Border Crossing:
   ▪ Iranian side: Razi, West Azerbaijan Province, near Khoy
   ▪ Turkish side: Kapıköy, Van Province
2. Shalamcheh – Basra Border Crossing:
   ▪ Iranian side: Shalamcheh, Khuzestan Province
   ▪ Iraqi side: Basra Governorate
3. Bajgiran – Ashgabat Border Crossing:
   ▪ For Omanis located in Mashhad, based on specific pre-approved lists

Citizens are advised not to move from their current locations until further instructions are issued.
