The significant increase in land prices in the Wilayat of Bawshar, with the lowest land price reaching 90,000 OMR, has raised concerns among Omani citizens, especially those in debt. This economic reality poses a serious challenge to families relying on limited financing to build their own homes.

Challenges in House Building Financing

Citizens who have borrowed amounts up to 40,000 OMR face difficulties in realizing their dream of owning a home. This situation calls for the need to find effective solutions to facilitate house building financing and ensure the stability of Omani families.

Aziz Al-Hasani, a former member of the Shura Council and a member of the Social Committee in the Wilayat of Bawshar, addressed this issue in the Noon Hour program, emphasizing the importance of providing new options for citizens.
