Sultan of Oman Meets President of Belarus in Muscat

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman, received President Aleksandr Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus at Al Barakah Palace on 1 December 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for investment and economic cooperation between Oman and Belarus, and reviewed ways to strengthen and expand bilateral relations in a manner that serves the mutual interests and economic growth of both countries.

On the Omani side, the meeting was attended by Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Crown Prince of Oman and Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Special Office of the Sultan; and Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority.
From the Belarusian side, Viktor Lukashenko, Special Representative of the President and President of the National Olympic Committee, along with Nikolai Lukashenko and a number of other officials, were present.
