In the latest QS World University Rankings for 2025, Sultan Qaboos University has made significant progress, securing the 362nd position globally. This advancement is the result of the university’s continuous efforts over the past year.
In this ranking, Sultan Qaboos University has improved in various indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, employment outcomes, and sustainability. Additionally, due to investments in international relations and collaborations with international researchers, the university has succeeded in enhancing its academic reputation index. These efforts demonstrate the university’s focus on elevating the quality of education and research.
This ranking signifies a significant step towards achieving further accomplishments in the future and confirms Sultan Qaboos University’s position as one of the prominent educational institutions globally. QS analyzed data from 5663 universities across 106 countries, placing 1503 universities in the 2025 rankings, with 21 new universities added this year.
