According to Oman Meteorology, temperatures are approaching 50 degrees Celsius at the Hamra Ad Duru station in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
In an online statement by Oman Meteorology, it was reported: “The Hamra Ad Duru station in Al Dhahirah Governorate recorded the highest temperature of 49.4 degrees Celsius on Saturday, June 1, 2024, followed by the Sunaynah station in Al Buraimi Governorate with 48.9 degrees Celsius, then the Bidiyah station in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate and the Ibri station in Al Dhahirah Governorate, both with 48.2 degrees Celsius.”
The Sohar station in North Al Batinah Governorate recorded 48.1 degrees Celsius, 47.9 degrees Celsius at the Mudhaibi and Barka stations, and 47.5 degrees Celsius at the Liwa station.
