The government announced today the issuance of the executive regulations for the tourism law, aimed at enhancing the investment environment and protecting investors. The regulations include a 6-month period for adjustment and 60 days for approval of new procedures.

Details of the Executive Regulations

The regulations aim to provide a clear legal framework for regulating the tourism sector, contributing to attracting more investments. It also includes protecting investors by setting new standards that facilitate investment processes.

A 6-month period has been set for existing tourism institutions to adjust their status according to new requirements, in addition to a 60-day period for the approval of new applications. This comes as part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the tourism sector as part of its economic development plan.
