China Announces Visa-Free Entry for Omani Citizens and 3 GCC Countries

,Muscat – 28 May 2025, As of June 9, 2025, citizens of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain can now enter China without a visa and stay for up to 30 days, according to an announcement by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning.

The new policy, valid until June 8, 2026, applies to holders of ordinary passports traveling for tourism, business, or family visits, and reflects growing China-GCC relations.

This move positions China as a more accessible destination for Gulf travelers, strengthening cultural ties and opening new doors for trade and cooperation.
