The Sultanate of Oman is aiming to restructure its economic decision-making system as part of its Eleventh Five-Year Plan (2026-2030). This move is part of the government’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of economic management and leadership in the country.

Details of the Five-Year Plan

The new plan outlines the return of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs position, aimed at improving coordination among various government entities and enhancing transparency in decision-making. Additionally, the plan aims to develop new strategies focusing on economic sustainability and increasing investments.

These changes are expected to boost economic growth and create new job opportunities, as well as improve the Sultanate’s ability to adapt to global economic challenges.
