Importance of the Strait of Hormuz
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important global waterways, through which a large portion of international oil trade passes. Therefore, maritime security in this strait is of utmost priority for both countries.
The two sides emphasized the importance of joint cooperation to ensure the stability and security of this vital corridor, stressing that dialogue and cooperation are the best means to achieve common goals.
