Oman’s Shura Council — In a recent session attended by Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, several key announcements were made regarding land allocation policies, urban development, and residential projects.

The Minister stated:

“From now on, single men will be eligible for government land at age 23, and single women at age 30. Previously, both genders had to wait until the age of 40.”

This reform aims to empower youth and ease access to housing as part of Oman’s ongoing housing strategies.
