Oman launches its first indigenous satellite into space

Today, Oman joined the ranks of advanced countries in the field of space technology with the successful launch of its first indigenous satellite, OL-1. This satellite is specifically designed for remote sensing technologies and Earth observation, and is also equipped with artificial intelligence. The OL-1 satellite has been officially registered with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the name of the Sultanate of Oman.

The OL-1 satellite is part of a constellation designed for continuous and precise monitoring of Oman’s lands and providing up-to-date data for various sectors of the country.

This project is the result of strategic collaborations between Star Vision Aerospace and Mars Company for development and investment, who have successfully provided the necessary resources and expertise to make the OL-1 satellite a reality. These collaborations have helped Oman develop an advanced, indigenous satellite by leveraging the latest technologies and artificial intelligence.
