Oman’s Population Exceeds 5.3 Million with 1.6% Growth

Muscat- Al-Roya: The total population of the Sultanate of Oman reached 5,368,120 by the end of the last month, reflecting a 1.6% growth compared to the previous period. This increase comes amid government policies aimed at improving living and social conditions in the country.

Statistics indicate that the population growth in Oman is distributed between Omanis and residents, with expatriates playing a significant role in boosting the national economy. With this growth, the Sultanate faces challenges in providing infrastructure and essential services for its increasing population.
