Sultan Haitham Issues New Royal Decree for Civil Society Law
Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Muazzam -may God protect him- has issued a royal decree No. (64 / 2026) concerning the issuance of the Civil Society Institutions Law. This decree aims to replace the previous law No. (14 / 2000) with a new modern law that aligns with the current phase.

Decree Details
The decree provides the addressed institutions with a period not exceeding one year to align their status with the new law. It also stipulates that the Minister of Social Development will issue the executive regulations of the law within a year. The law will take effect the day following its publication in the official gazette.
