On this day, schools and employees in both public and private sectors will observe a holiday. This day provides an opportunity to commemorate this sacred occasion across the country.
This day, one of the most important Islamic occasions, serves as a moment for reflection and appreciation of the spiritual and divine messages in the lives of Muslims. The Government of Oman has declared this holiday to highlight the significance of this event in the Islamic calendar.
It is noted that the Isra and Mi’raj anniversary, which corresponds to 27 Rajab 1446 AH and January 27, 2025, has been moved to Thursday, January 30, 2025, to align with the weekend break, providing a suitable opportunity for rest and observance of this important occasion.
