Omani youth are increasingly turning their hobbies and daily activities into business ventures by creating innovative projects that attract consumer interest. They aim to commercialize and invest in these ventures within Oman, enabling them to compete in regional and global markets.

One such initiative is “Seven Fries”, the first Omani brand specializing in fresh fried potatoes, founded by Eisa bin Saleh Al Aghbari. The brand was launched in Seeb, Muscat Governorate, in 2021. In less than two years, it successfully opened three branches in Muscat and Dhofar.

Seven Fries is an Omani brand and a restaurant chain operating in the food and restaurant industry.

Expansion and Growth of “Seven Fries”

“Seven Fries” was selected for the Franchise Program launched by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ranking among the top Omani brands out of more than 300 participants. The company successfully signed an agreement to develop its brand with the chamber to support its expansion in the market.

In 2024, “Seven Fries” signed its first franchise agreement in Al Amerat, Muscat Governorate. Later this year, another franchise contract was signed in Ibri, Al Dhahirah Governorate.

International Expansion

“Seven Fries” has achieved remarkable success in international markets, signing franchise agreements in Erbil (Kurdistan Region), Baghdad (Iraq), and Islamabad (Pakistan). Additionally, an exclusive contract was signed in India.

Future Vision

  • “Seven Fries” aims to open 300 branches in India, capitalizing on its status as one of the largest global markets.
  • The company has also received several requests for franchise agreements in global markets, including the United States.

Conclusion

“Seven Fries” has evolved from a local startup into a globally recognized brand, showcasing the significant potential of Omani entrepreneurs in the international market. With ambitious expansion plans and growing global demand, the brand is poised to become one of the leading companies in the fast-food industry worldwide.
